Obituary of Joanne Hertner

Hertner, Joanne Gertrude of Aylmer passed away at London Health Science Centre-University Hospital on Monday, July 29, 2013 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Gerald Hertner. Loving mother of Andrea Mulder and husband John of Norwich, Michelle Knevel of Brantford, Almyra Persson and husband Leif of Luxembourg and Peter Knevel of Hamilton. Dear step-mother of Jim Hertner and wife Grace of Aylmer, Bob Hertner and wife Donna of Kanata and Marianne Speers and husband Jerry of Sturgeon Falls. She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Marcus, Jorita, Marissa, Derek-Jan(Caitlin), Colin, David, Michael, Mikaela, Emma, Edwin, Shae-Lynn, Joshua, Justin, Kyle, Quinn, Jordan, Nathan, Carter, Aaron, Andrew and Angela. Sister of Annie and Jake VanderMuelen, Bill and Margaret Colyn, Allard and Immie Colyn, John and Mary Colyn, Gerda and Andy Vander Kloet. Predeceased by her first husband Hendrik Knevel(1989) and her grandson Nathanial. Born in The Netherlands on December 03, 1939 daughter of the late Johannes and Christina (Scherff) Colijn. Joanne was a member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 11:00 am.
