Obituary of Betty Moore

Moore, "Betty" Bessie Fern of Aylmer and formerly of St. Thomas and a longtime resident of R.R.1, Brownsville passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, June 23, 2013 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Moore(1992). Loving mother of Linda Peters(Butch) of Aylmer, Ann Whaley(Lon) of Britt, Bob Moore(Anne) of Lambeth, Rick Moore(Sharon) of Tillsonburg, Wendy Tait(Tony) of Tillsonburg, Deb Feeney(Tom) of Scarborough, Steve Moore(Allison) of London and Betty-Jo Belton(Tom) of Stratford. Sister-in-law to Marion Simmons, Betty Moore, Max and Irma Jean Moore. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandsons Tyler Peters and David Moore, a sister Clara Spence and brothers Clarence and Harvey Simmons. Born in Middleton Township on July 31, 1923 daughter of the late Oscar and Susan (Ribble) Simmons. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
