Obituary of Alvin Locke

Locke, Alvin of The Dearness Home, London passed away at his residence on Friday June 21, 2013 in his 88th year. Dear brother of Gladys Acker of Nova Scotia, Millie Starling (Barry) of Elmvale and Curtis Locke of St.Thomas. Predeceased by sisters Kathleen Kirkey, Elvie Smyth and Alma Wilson and a brother Mervin Locke. Born in Shelburne County Nova Scotia on July 5, 1925 son of the late Roland George (1966) and Laura Jane (MacLean) Locke(1997). Alvin had been a commercial fisherman and a veteran of The Korean War serving with the Black Watch. He lived in St.Thomas most of his life. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Sunday where the funeral service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment, Springfield Cemetery.
