Obituary of Brownie Appleyard

Appleyard, Edna "Brownie" peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was 100 years old and a resident of Aylmer. Beloved wife of the late Ken Roberton(1978) and the late Doug Appleyard(1998). Loving mother of Sandra Sloan and husband Frank and grandmother of Ian Myers all of Woodstock. Dear sister of Don Brown of London, the late Jack Brown and the late Dorothy Harris. Fondly remembered by the Sloan Family and the Van Patter Family. Brownie and Ken owned and operated Roberton's Home Furnishings on Talbot Street East in Aylmer. She enjoyed wintering in Sarasota Florida. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at the Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 am. With visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Elmdale Cemetery.
