Dear Jim, Barbara, Glen and all your families; I was saddened to learn of your Mother's passing. Some of my earliest memories revolve around good times with the entire Jackson family - evenings of cards and Hockey Night in Canada. The big wooden table in the kitchen and the cook-stove. Jim, Barbara, Glen and families
We have such fond memories of Aunt Grace, her warmth, smile and of course her pies. I remember with a smile the closeness of Mom and Aunt Grace and how they would love to talk and share their family stories with each other. If it wasn't for Aunt Grace we would not have had the family reunions in Dorchester. There are so many great memories that come back to us at this time - summer vacations on the farm, playing in the barn (once I got use to the smell), helping with the haying - all of which was quite an experience for a city boy. At the centre of these experiences was Aunt Grace making us feel welcomed and comfortable. These will always be remembered.
We were sorry to hear of her passing and would like to express our sympathy to all of you. We are sorry we can't be there to honour her life. She will be fondly remembered.
