Obituary of Charles Newland

Newland, Charles of RR1, Eden passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 31, 2013 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Mary (Brown Pressey) Newland. Dear father of David Newland(Gayle), Katherine Platt(Larry) and Anne Gilbert(Gary). Step-father of Larry Pressey(Eileen), Phyllip Pressey(Roberta Kerwin), Colleen Walters(Marvin Luce), Elizabeth Allen(Brian), Roger Pressey(Nancy), Dean Pressey(Kimberly) and Kim Burgess(John). Also survived by a twin brother Francis Newland(Mary) and number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Fingal on December 6, 1923 son of the late Russell and Florence Newland. Charlie was a farmer and a member of the Eden Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm. with visitation one hour prior. Cremation will follow with burial in Fingal Cemetery at a later date.
