Obituary of Erna Alway

Alway (Maurer), Erna of St. Thomas passed away at Caressant Care , Bonnie Place, St.Thomas on Thursday, March 14, 2013 in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of Edward "Ted" Alway. Survived by a sister in Germany and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by five sisters. Born in Germany on August 14, 1911. Erna lived in the United States for many years where she had been a model for Liz Clairborne. She came to St.Thomas in July 2002. Friends may call at the Eastwood Fellowship Baptist Church, 400 Wellington St., St.Thomas one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Interment, St.Thomas Cemetery.
