Obituary of Mary Jane Adlington

Adlington, Mary Jane peacefully at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in her 79th year. She was a resident of Tillsonburg and formerly lived in Straffordville. Loving wife of Robert Bruce Adlington. Cherished mother of Lorrie Kalmikov and husband Harold of Aylmer and Carol Sturgeon and husband Drew of Canton, Michigan. Much loved grandma to Ceileigh, Nicole and Courtney. Dear sister of Rosemary Marvin and husband Ted of Ancaster. Predeceased by a brother Robert Arthur(2011). Born in Woodstock Ontario on April 11, 1933, daughter of Clayton and Alice Arthur. Mary lead an active life. She spent many great years coaching "Mary's Girls" in Straffordville. Mary's baseball team just celebrated their 10th year of participating at the "Relay for Life." She was very proud of her girls(Cindy, Wendy, Janet, Loree, Connie, Peg, Cheryl, Della and Kim). Later in life she received an Award from the town of Tillsonburg for her volunteer efforts. She was a member of the Tillsonburg Food Bank and loved selling daffodils for the Cancer Society. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Arkess Rebekah Lodge #168 will conduct a Service on Friday at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Straffordville Cemetery.
