Obituary of Ross Brooks

Brooks, Ross Eugene of Terrace Lodge Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in his 80th year. Dear father of Debra Shaver(Rob Hamilton) of London, Tony Brooks(Patsy) of Port Stanley, Wayne Brooks(Natalie) of London. Father-in-law of Verne Shaver and Karl Foster. Brother of Donna McKenzie(John) and Larry Brooks. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Darlene Foster and brothers Robert and Wayne "Bud" Brooks. Born in South Dorchester Twp. Ontario on January 21, 1933 son of the late Grant and Rose (Howey) Brooks. Ross served in the Royal Canadian Navy. He was a member of Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment, Springfield Cemetery.
