Obituary of Minke Jongsma

Jongsma, Minke of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer and formerly of St. Thomas passed away peacefully to be with her Lord, at her residence on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Adam Jongsma(1967). Dear mother of Hilda Broer and husband Harry of Aylmer, Edward Jongsma and wife Evelyn of Edmonton, Julia Versteeg and husband Robert of St. Thomas, and Rosa Lynn Jongsma of High Level, Alberta. Loving grandmother of Heidi Weninger(Joe), Marcel Broer(Amy), Laura Broer, Adam Jongsma(Stephanie), Alissa Jongsma, Jason Jongsma, Sarah Hopman(Jeff), Denise Versteeg Rusthoven(Joel) and Michael Versteeg. Great-grandmother of Haley, Jaden, Simon, Emily, Cole, Adrian and Ava. Sister of Andy Tadema(Rita) and Harold Tadema(Deb). Sister-in-law of Ann and Shirley Tadema. Predeceased by 2 brothers John and George Tadema. Born in Oudega, The Netherlands on April 6,1933, daughter of the late Hielke and Hielkje Tadema. Minke was a secretary and teacher at London District Christian Secondary School and a member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at The Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 am.
