deKok, John at Caressant Care, Mary Bucke St., St.Thomas on Thursday. October 25, 2012 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Neeltje (Vriend) deKok. Dear father of Jennifer Longo and husband Jim of R.R.# 1 Springfield, Adrienne Schmidt and husband Bernie of Ottawa and Jackie deKok of Bradford. Loved by his grandchildren Michael (Joanne), Tim(Allison), Angela (John), Amanda (Matt), Evelyn (Paul), John (Andrea), Lisa (Nathan), Lydia (Josiah), Scott, Russell, Mitch, and Jason. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters in The Netherlands Born in Zealand son of the late Jacobus and Janet deKok on June 21, 1921. John served in the Dutch Marine Corps. after WW II. He was a farmer north of Toronto for many years until moving to RR1, Springfield. John was a member of The Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. A service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday October 31 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee would be appreciated.
