Hard to believe it has almost been a year and how life has changed without you, especially for your children. Looking back at the memories we had created is still so meaningful to me. All the times we got to sit on the porch swing and have a cup of tea, sharing stores and memories from years gone by. Do you remember the night gowns? I sure do. I remember you laughing.
Swinging and Tea, swinging and tea,
sharing the stories of you and me.
Years gone by so fast
the memories we have do last.
Swinging and Tea, swinging and tea,
just you and me.

My Darling Grandma
A woman of extreme strength, courage and love,
Who was beautiful, soft and now peaceful and free as a dove.
Someone on who our admiration was built around,
For her womanhood, wife, friend and grandmother since she was brought into this ground.
My Darling Grandma, we will forever hold in our hearts in which we have truly learned the most from,
Your strength as a wonderful moth
er to our mothers and fathers,
And which we hope to gain in raising your great grandsons and great granddaughters.
My darling grandma, we will always respect all you went through in your hardships and distinguished ways,
Your ability to hold yourself with such dignity and pride in all your days,
Your beauty shines in us all who were lucky to be part of your devoted family,
We` will carry you in our eyes, minds, and hearts in which we have a remedy,
My Darling Grandma, that is to hold you close by all you have taught us to do,
And to remember the beautiful women we owe our lives to,
For giving us life to blessing us with her strong inner spirit of courage,
Her unconditional love and her sensual laughter,
For being such a person in who will always and have always
held deep in our hearts now and here after.
My Darling Grandma, You are taking a little part of us with you as you follow your angels who will guide you to your
precious place,
May you look down on us with pride on what you brought
into this world with your guidance in which you are now
truly our angel of grace.
My Darling Grandma, as you enter your new heavenly home,
may you rest in peace for which you truly deserve,
For you will be truly missed and remembered for your love and honor in which we will preserve.
We love you always and forever and may god be with you. - By Margaet Rivera

I remember being a little child and having sleep overs with my grand parents. I remember crawling into my grandma's bed for cuddles. She would wrap her warm arms with petal soft skin around my body. We would lie there and talk about so many different things. Once I grew up it became harder for her to wrap her arms around me, but we always tried. Just a cuddle, a warm conversation and a few moments of peace, silence and contentment would fill our hearts. Sitting together holding hands while we rocked on the swing on her back porch was always a favorite thing for me. I had to learn though not to hit the house. I never did ask her why it was built so close as swings are meant to soar on. Never the less, our feet never touched the sky but my heart would sore basking in those moments that I held her attention. These are memories I will always have. Material items may fade, break or loose themselves in an ever changing life, but nobody can take away my memories and the feelings I have towards my grandmother. I am so glad that we had all the times we did together and I cherish each minute we had together, where I go to soak up the warmth of her heart so that I could always reach back within myself and feel that once again. Thank you grandma for your love and the beautiful memories we had together. Do you remember Sulphur Mountan? I do, I will never ever forget. I love you!

God looked around his garden And He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered"Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you . But you didn't go alone, For part of me went with you, The day God called you home.
