Abrams, Peter at his home in Aylmer on Saturday, September 29, 2012 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of 66 years of Sara (Dueck) Abrams. Dear father of Nela Kauenhofen and husband John of Aylmer, Anna Hiebert and husband Philip of Mexico, Peter Abrams and wife Margaret of Eden, John Abrams (deceased), Eva Giesbrecht and husband Issac of Springfield, Sara Zacharias and husband Frank of Calton, Will Abrams and wife Debbie of New Zealand and Helen Stoesz and husband Carl of Virginia U.S.A. Father-in-law of Valerie Abrams of Edmonton. There are 30 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren Also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Predeceased by a grandchild , 4 great grandchildren and 4 brothers. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on October 3, 1925 son of the late Johan and Helena (Friesen) Abrams. Peter came to Canada in 1966 and was a member of the Somerfeld Mennonite Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday2-4 & 7-9pm, The funeral service will be held at The Somerfeld Mennonite Church, Mount Salem on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
