Obituary of Allan White

White, Allan Henry of London and formerly Springfield passed away at London Health Science Centre-University on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Horton) White. Dear father of William White (Margaret) of Aylmer, David White (Maureen) of Philadelphia PA., Joseph White (Stella) of Oakville and Elizabeth Brkic (Joseph) of Welland. Loved by his grandchildren Jennifer (Miguel), James (Laurie), Tyson (Alexandra), Tiffany (Julius), Laura (Andrew), Jennifer and Laura. Great grandfather of Evan, Ellen, Isabella, Cadence, Noah and Jordan. Brother-in-law of Jack Horton (Florence) and also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Robert White and a sister Margaret Ferguson. Born in Culross Township, Bruce County, Ontario on May 6, 1925, son of the late John and Winnifred (Abbott) White. Allan had been a farmer in Huron County and was a barber in Springfield from 1960-1975. He had also been a dairy herd improvement supervisor. He was a past member of the Springfield Lions Club and faithful to his Lord and Saviour. Cremation has taken place and an interment service will be held in Aylmer Cemetery on Thursday August 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm.. Donations to Toronto Sick Childrens Hospital appreciated.
