Obituary of Helen Foy

Foy, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday August 29, 2007. Helen Frances Foy of Aylmer. Beloved wife of the late Carl Foy (1963). Loving mother of Paul Foy and wife Sharon of Midland and Dale of Aylmer. Loved by her grandchildren Christine Gabany and husband Brian of Oakville and Michael Foy and Michelle Belanger of Vancouver B.C. Great grandmother of Owen Gabany. Predeceased by a brother Charles Simon (1977) Born in Hagersville Ontario, daughter of the late Alfred and Nellie (Brown) Simon. Helen came to Aylmer in 1941 and was a member of Trinity Anglican Church. She had been a postal clerk, a public school teacher and with her husband owned and operated the Sugar Bowl in the 60's. Helen was a past matron and a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was the charter president of the Aylmer Kinette Club. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Helen's wishes there will be no visitation. A family service will take place at a later date. Burial of the ashes Aylmer Cemetery.
