Pede, peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, August 24, 2007. Joris Pede of Aylmer in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Couckuyt) Pede. Dear father of Dan Pede and wife Barb of Aylmer and loving grandfather of Shawn Pede and wife Jennie and Nicole Pede. Brother of Irena Pede of Belgium. Brother-in-law of Jack Couckuyt and wife Judith, Andy Couckuyt and wife Charleah, Joe Couckuyt and wife Linda and Ruth Pede. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Robert Pede. Born in Sleidinge Belgium on March 26, 1928 son of the late Camiel and Maria (Causyn) Pede. He grew tobacco from 1956-1984. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be held on Sunday at 6:45 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Father Gilbert Simard, officiating.
