Obituary of Sam Wiebenga
Wiebenga, with his family by his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, August 8, 2007. "Sam" Sietze Wiebenga of Aylmer in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Eva (DeKraker) Wiebenga. Loving father of Sherry Berkelmans and husband Frank of Aylmer, Willy Wiebenga and wife Crystal of St. Thomas and Trevor Wiebenga and wife Annie of Rockland. Dear brother of Bill Wiebenga and wife Trudy, John Wiebenga and friend Pam McDermid and Sandra DenHarder and husband John all of Aylmer. Grandfather of Samantha, Kelsey, Blake, Danae and Troy Berkelmans, Morgan, Amy-Lee and Tania Wiebenga and predeceased by a precious newborn granddaughter Allison Wiebenga. He will be sadly missed by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in DeKnippe The Netherlands on March 16, 1944 son of the late Harry and Roberta (Kuiper) Wiebenga. He came to Canada in 1947. Sam grew tobacco for a number of years and was the manager of 7-2-11 Stores. In retirement he sold furniture for Morris Kikkert Furnishings. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Sam's life will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev.
