Williams, peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, May 27, 2007. Bernice Mary Williams of Aylmer at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Bill Williams(1981). Dear mother of Ronald Williams and wife Mary Ann of Aylmer and Carol Shackleton and husband Ron of R.R. # 4, Aylmer. Loved by her grandchildren Debbie Harris and husband Rick, Terry Shackleton and wife Cindy, Allan Shackleton and wife Melissa, Chris Dionne, Rob Dionne and wife Rachel and predeceased by a grandson Jeff Shackleton(1988). Great grandmother of Sean, Marc and Lauren Harris and Devin, Stevie Lyn, Clarke, and Chloe Shackleton. Brother of Louis Clifford and wife Eileen. Sister-in-law of Jean Clifford and Tom Williams. Predeceased by brothers Russell , Joe, and Harry Clifford and sisters Agnes Casler and Betty Duerksen. Survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Burgessville on January 19, 1911 daughter of the late William and Florence (Turner) Clifford. Bernice was a member of Avalon Rebekah Lodge #224, Aylmer, St. Pauls United Church UCW and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Br# 81. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Norman Jones, officiating.
