Obituary of Robert Bagley

Bagley, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday May 12, 2007. Robert Lyle Bagley of Aylmer and formerly Wroxeter and Waterloo in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Betty Lou (Ralf) Bagley. Dear father of Deborah Underhill and husband Jon of New Dundee, and Thomas A. Bagley and wife Bonnie of Victoria B.C. Loved by his grandchildren Katie and Tim Underhill and Meagan and Michael Bagley. Brother of Betty Miller of Brantford, Millie Short of Paris, Tom Bagley and wife Ann of Hamilton, Ruth Mayor of Hamilton, Jim Bagley and wife Lorraine of Hamilton, Barb Robb of Paris, Carol Force of Burford and predeceased by Doris Coates, Muriel Pirie, Irene Rutherford, Peter Bagley and Fred Bagley. Brother-in-law of Ruth Anne Haines and husband Bob of Aylmer and Marilyn Bagley of Binbrook. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Nelles Corners, Ontario on July 14, 1934 son of the late Gordon and Mae (Crawley) Bagley. Robert was a member of the United Church. He had owned and operated grocery stores in West Lorne and Kitchener and retired as the director of store operations for Zehrs after twenty-five years. He was a past president of the West Lorne Kiwanas Club. In his retirement, Bob enjoyed golf , woodworking and gardening. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 15, 2007 at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow. Rev. Jeff Hawkins, officiating.
