Obituary of Betty Shipp

Shipp, Betty Irene (Howey) at Chateau Gardens, Aylmer on Thursday, January 12, 2012. in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Robert E. Shipp and the late William F. Howey (1984). Dear mother of Linda Parry and her husband Ron of Aylmer and the late Donna Lierman (2008). Loved by her grandchildren Pauline, Pamela(Bruce), Darrel and Mark Lierman, Ron Parry (Karen), Rob Parry and Ryan Parry (Rebecca). Great grandmother of Samantha and Rachel. Predeceased by her sister Beatrice Long and her grand-daughter Kimberley Parry(1977). Born in Malahide Township on May 21, 1928, daughter of the late Ross and Violet (West) Fugard. Betty was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Aylmer and drove school bus for twenty years. She was a charter member of the Springfield Lionness Club and the emergency phone operator of Malahide # 2 Fire Department for many years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday January 14, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
