Obituary of Shirley Redmond

Redmond, after a courageous battle with cancer at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 12, 2007. Shirley Clara Redmond of R.R.2, Pt. Burwell in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of 27 years of Aubrey Redmond. Loving mother of Jerry Whitcroft and wife Sherry of Eden, Don Whitcroft and fiancée Helena of St. Thomas, Paul Whitcroft of St. Thomas, Tammy Mills and husband Dan of Wyoming and step-mother of Dan Redmond and wife Laurie, David Redmond, Darryl Redmond and Kim Redmond. Dear sister of Charles Stafford and wife Sophia, Helen Melville and husband Verne, Marion Heffren and Karl Stafford. Predeceased by a brother Fred Stafford (1998). She will be sadly missed by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Malahide Township on March 23, 1936 daughter of the late Colin and Marguerite (Clunas) Stafford. Shirley was a life member of the Pt. Burwell Legion#524 and retired from Livingston Industries in Tillsonburg. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Cremation will follow. Donations to the Cancer Society or the Pt.
