I can remember growing up at 335 John St. across the road from Glover's Dairy. Frances and I were the best of friends. Mr. Glover was this tall impressive figure with a nice smile. I spent many hours in his home. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Father. Hold on to the memories.

Sid, takes memories back to the restaurant on John Street behind the old Stedmans store. I loved going in, for some of the treats, and to hear the great talks with Sid and company on Canada, his interest in this country, spawned mine. My condolences to you all.

What a wonderful man was your Father! He was certainly a legend in the Aylmer area (and probably beyond) - everyone knew Glover's Dairy and associated businesses. Aylmer has changed in many ways, but The Dairy, Chuckwagon and so forth remain in our minds and hearts. Now, the Capital Cafe is closing - what wonderful people they are! However, I digress. The Glover Family has left its' stamp on Aylmer for many years to come. My sincere condolences to all the 'Glover Girls'on their loss.
