Obituary of Edith Bowen

Bowen, peacefully at her residence on Friday, April 20, 2007. Edith Gertrude Bowen of R.R.#1, Aylmer in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Bowen(1981). Dear mother of Karl Bowen of R.R.#1, Aylmer and Wray Bowen and wife Carole of R.R.#6, Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Julie and Joe, Bob and Mandy, and David. She will be sadly missed by her sister Mary Matthews and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Mildred Hart and a brother George Summers. Born at Summers Corners on October 28, 1909 daughter of the late Grant and Olive (Leeson) Summers. Edith was a lifelong resident of Malahide Township and a member of Summers Corners United Church and the UCW. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Norman Jones and Rev.
