We have lost the Mayor of Jaffa; he was thusly nicknamed, being the oldest resident. When Linda was small, Dickie played Easter Bunny for the local kids. He was always willing to help neighbors. When our lawnmower broke, he cut our lawn with his old tractor and pull mower. Not designed for small places, he would sometimes cut other things. He helped me put flat metal siding on our old house. Do you think he would use new nails? No. We spent half the day straightening rusty nails. We got the job done. All who knew him, or saw him riding his bike down to the local body shop will miss him. We have special memories of Dick and Dolly over the years, that will remain in our hearts forever.

Dearest Linda and all the family, It is with heartfelt sadness that I read today about Dick's passing. He was on my mind a while back so I gave him a call and we had a wonderful chat. It was like we picked up where we had left off. He was such a wonderful and giving man with a wonderful sense of humour, he will be missed. Please accept our condolences and know that we think of you often. Our thoughts are with you. Love Ron and Debbie
