Obituary of Arnold Stansell

Surrounded by his family, Arnold Romaine Stansell aged 89 of Summers Corners, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the St Thomas Elgin General Hospital. He was a retired Ayrshire breeder, avid gardener and skilled ballroom dancer. Beloved husband of 61 years of Mary (MacDonald) Stansell. Dear father of Norman Stansell and his wife Ann of Aylmer and Beth Batty and Skip Phoenix of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Sheila Batty and Ryan Gruhle, Marianne Batty and Lee Usher, Karen Batty, Kerry (Stansell) and Ian Kerr, Cathy (Stansell) and Dean Eyre. Proud great-grandpa of Benjamin, Owen, Nicholas, Ethan, Morgan, Oscar and Kaitlynn. Survived by sister, Neva Bezeau of Kelowna, BC. and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son, Stuart (1971), brothers Rowan and Gordon and sister Vi Walsh. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer Friday 2-4 and 7-9. The Funeral service will be held at St Paul's United Church on Saturday, March 24 at 11 A.M. Interment in Straffordville Cemetery.
