Obituary of Leonard Davis

Davis, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday March 19, 2007. Leonard George Davis of Aylmer in his 84 th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruby (Thompson) Davis. Dear father of Lynnda McCaw of R.R.#2, St.Thomas and Chuck Davis and wife Michelle of Aylmer. Grandfather to Shannon McCaw and fiance Mike Marconato and David McCaw and wife Rori, Christine Davis and partner Lee Johnston, and Steven Davis. Great-grandfather to Charlie Stewart and Brian McCaw. Predeceased by his brother Doug Davs and a son-in-law Brian McCaw. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Aylmer Ontario on November 21, 1923 the son of the late Charles and Ethel (Trim) Davis. Len was a former proprietor with his brother Doug of J.Davis and Sons Fuel, and retired as the print shop supervisor at the Ontario Police College. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Royal Canadian Navy. Len enjoyed golfing and he was an avid hunter and fisherman Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday March 22, 2007 at 1:00 pm.. Burial of Ashes Aylmer Cemetery. The Rev.
