Obituary of Mona Hill

Hill, at Elgin Manor on Thursday, January 5, 2012. Mona Rose Hill of The Elgin Manor and formerly Aylmer in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Godfrey Hill(2007). Dear mother of Thomas and wife Cheryl, Tracey Thompson and husband Ronald and Timothy and wife Janice all of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Jeffrey Hill, Amy Thompson, Julie Hill-Leclair(Derek), Ryan Hill, Jennifer Thompson, Adam Hill, Christopher Hill and Matthew Hill. Born in Meaford on February 15, 1921, daughter of the late Thomas Harold and Edith Irene (Walters) Farrell. Mona spent her early years in the Meaford and Walters Falls area before moving to Aylmer in 1926. She was a member of Trinity Anglican Church having taught Sunday School for many years. Mona loved to golf and curl and spent many hours attending various exercise groups. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 pm where the funeral service will be held on Monday January 9, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Adele Miles, officiating.
