Obituary of Jean Turner

Turner, peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday March 4, 2007. Jean Turner of St. Thomas and formerly New Sarum in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Wilf Turner for 53 years. Loving mother of Linda Wilkinson and husband Robert of London and John Turner and wife Beulah of St.Thomas. Loved by her grandchildren Kate Turner, Daniel Wilkinson, and Johnathan Curtis Turner. Dear sister of Gordon McCracken of Hinton Alberta. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 brothers and five sisters. Born in Claresholm, Alberta on February 11, 1934, daughter of the late James and Lura (Hobson) McCracken. Jean lived a very happy and prosperous life. She worked at the New Sarum Diner for many years and formed numerous life long friendships. The family will receive friends at the New Sarum Diner Banquet Hall, 6-9 p.m on Friday March 9, 2007.
