Ed was a wonderful man and always a pleasure to visit with. He frequented the A&P on Clarke Road and Trafalgar Street for many years. I am an employee there in the meat dept. and looked forward to seeing him every Friday night when he drove in to do his shopping. As he got older he said he found the drive a little too much. He always had kind words for all our employees and told us to keep our foot on the bag and don't swing at a bad pitch. My deepest sympathy to all of Ed's family. I will always remember him and smile. Janice Dionne (Meat dept. A&P London)

TO THE UNGER FAMILY It was with great sadness that I read about the passing of Mr. Unger in this morning`s paper. As the funeral is in Aylmer during the work week, I am unable to attend. But I am sending this note to express my views about this very fine man. I am a lawyer practicing in London. I am in my mid-50`s and have been in practice for 27 years. I have known Mr. Unger since my days as an articling student. Mr. Unger was one of the nicest and friendliest people I have ever encountered. Back when I was a junior lawyer, the friendship that he, as a senior lawyer, showed to me was always very important to me. The practice of law can be very difficult, as you are dealing with emotions and personalities. It is almost impossible to keep everyone happy. However in all my years of practice, I can not ever remember hearing anyone say anything negative about Mr. Unger. The world would be a better place if it had more Ed Ungers in it. Please accept my sincerest condolances. LARRY WANGER
