I am so saddened for your loss Uncle Pete, Wayne, Carol and family. I am still in shock to learn of Aunt Muriel's passing. All of the Brown family, Dorothy, Linda, Larry, Susan, and myself, and all of our spouses, children and grandchildren send our deepest condolences. To The Walker/Brown Families, I am very sorry to hear of your loss and truly wish I could be there for you; especially this week. I have several happy memories of Muriel and you have to know that she will not be forgotten. I will always remember Mrs. Walker as Wayne's mom who always made me feel special and a part of the family whenever I was there. Muriel was a wonderful loving person who was lucky, happy, and proud to be a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend to many. In time, we must all move on from the physical interaction with our loved ones, but we need not forget them. I will think about her and miss her too. Take one day at a time and cherish the memories you were lucky to make; today and tomorrow are hard days, but they will get easier. Carol - Look at all the things your mom has taught you and remember all the laughs. She will want you to use everything she has shown you to get through this and carry on. Be strong. Pete - I know you have the strength to focus on the future with the amazing family you have while taking comfort in the memories of the wonderful life you and Muriel had together. Take good care. Wayner - It's tough my friend, but so are you. I'm going to hop on a plane one of these weekends, taking a few extra days when the kids' winter schedule is over and hopefully before the summer activities get into full swing, and have a proper visit with you. Dear Pete, Carol and Wayne, Being so far away only makes it more difficult not to be there with you all. I only met Muriel a couple of times but I remember her laughter and friendliness. We were shocked and saddened to receive the news that Aunt Muriel passed away so suddenly. What words can you use to comfort her family and friends? I'll remember her laugh and how she smiled. How everyone that knew her loved, admired and respected her. She left all of us a legacy. I guess what is important for you to know is that you are not alone - there are so many of us who feel her loss and are going to celebrate her life by keeping our memories of Aunt Muriel alive and sharing them with others. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the service. But I will be there in spirit. Please, take care of each other and remember there shouldn't be nothing more important than family.
