Obituary of George Wiebe

Wiebe, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, February 10, 2007. George L. Wiebe of Aylmer in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Agatha Wiebe (2005). Brother of Anna Teichroeb of Texas and the late Helena Bueckert. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one daughter and two sons who died in infancy. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on April 21, 1928 son of the late Andrew and Agatha (Loewen) Wiebe. On July 13, 1947 George was joined in marriage to the late Agatha Wiebe. This union lasted for more than 58 years. In 1964, George and Agatha moved to Texas, where they lived and worked until they retired in Aylmer, Ontario in 1991. He was a member of the Church of God, Aylmer. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 7-10 pm.
