Carrothers, Graydon at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. John Graydon Carrothers of Aylmer in his 86th year. Beloved wife of 56 years of Gladys (Burkholder) Carrothers. Dear father of Karen Rowe and husband Paul of Newmarket and Tracy Carrothers and partner Paul Martin of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Scott, Craig, Brent and Alex. Brother of Blake Carrothers. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Grant and Bob Carrothers and a sister Wilma Gilbert. Born in Springfield on December 18, 1926 son of the late Jack and Vera (Prier) Carrothers. Graydon was Past President of the Aylmer Kinsmen Club. He was a Land Surveyor and he was an avid Golfer, Curler, and Bowler. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
