Godfrey Hill of Aylmer in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Mona Rose (Farrell) Hill. Dear father of Thomas and wife Cheryl, Tracey Thompson and husband Ronald and Timothy and wife Janice all of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Jeffrey Hill, Amy Thompson, Julie Hill, Ryan Hill, Jennifer Thompson, Adam Hill, Christopher Hill and Matthew Hill. Born in South Norwich Township, Oxford County on October 8, 1918 son of the late James Rowland and Beatrice Marguerite (Bradshaw) Hill. Godfrey was a licenced phamacist for 53 years, having served the citizens of Aylmer and East Elgin for 50 years. He was a member of the Oxford Rifles, served in the Royal Canadian Medical Corp. in England during WWII. Godfrey was co-founder, and owner with his brother John, of Hills Pharmacy having fully retired in 1996. He was an avid sportsman having served as president and member of the Aylmer Curling Club for many years. He was one of the original members of the Pleasant Valley Golf and Country Club. Godfrey was a Past President of the Aylmer Kinsmen Club and a member of Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was Superintendent of the Trinity Anglican Church Sunday School for 25 years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev.
