Obituary of Donald Lindsay

Lindsay, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday January 29, 2007. Donald Lindsay of Aylmer and formerly New Sarum in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Freeman) Lindsay. Dear father of Linda Northey and husband Jim of Aylmer and the late Bill Lindsay (2005) and Bob Lindsay (1995). Loved by his grandchildren Susan Lamoure and husband Joel of Aylmer and Steven Northey and wife Mandie of London. Great grandfather of Lindsay Lamoure, Jocelyn Lamoure and Jay Northey. Brother of Ross Lindsay and wife Dorothy of R.R.# 2, Springfield, Helen Small of Wallacetown and predeceased by a sister Marian Hetherington. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Corinth, Ontario on December 28, 1923 son of the late Frank and Marie (Nelson) Lindsay. Don farmed at New Sarum for 55 years and he owned and operated Lindsay Auto Wreckers. He moved to Aylmer in 2001. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Friday February 2 at 11:00 am.
