Van Velzer, Dorothy at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, January 2, 2012.Dorothy Van Velzer of Aylmer in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Van Velzer(2003). Loving mother of Joan Buchner and husband Gerald of R.R.# 5, Aylmer, Penny Hill and husband Gary of St.Thomas, Rick Van Velzer and wife Debbie of R.R.#1 Pt. Burwell, Kevin Van Velzer of R.R.# 4 Aylmer and Vickie Thompson of Aylmer. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, a son-in-law Ivan Willsey, a brother Earl Campbell and wife Gloria of Aylmer and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son David Van Velzer, a daughter Karen Willsey, a granddaughter Tracey Van Velzer, brothers Dick, Ray, Ken and Keith Campbell and sisters Hazel Huffman and Amie Wolley Born in N.Dorchester Township, Ontario on October 23, 1924, daughter of the late Bruce and Martha Mae (Lapham) Campbell. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment, Springfield Cemetery.
