Kirby, peacefully at St. Josephs Hospital, Hamilton on Monday, December 25, 2006. Helen Mary Kirby of Hamilton and formerly St. Thomas and Aylmer in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Joseph Kirby. Dear mother of Todd Kirby and wife Jennie of Burlington and Grant Kirby of Hamilton. Loving grandmother of Ian, Melissa, Christopher, Patrick and Kelly. Born in Bayham Township on June 30, 1917 daughter of the late Melvin and Gladys (Woodworth) Todd. She was curator of the Elgin County Pioneer Museum and a member of the St. Thomas Antique Club. Helen was loved and admired by her many friends in St. Thomas, Aylmer, Port Burwell, Freelton, Hamilton, Ancaster and Burlington. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, 119 Talbot St. E., Aylmer (519)773-8400 on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C.
