Obituary of Margaret Froese

Margaret Froese of Aylmer, who trusted in Christ, whose tears are gone and whose sorrows have turned into joy, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, surrounded by her loving family, on November 19, 2024.

She is the beloved wife of Henry Froese of Aylmer and the dear mother of Janette Wall and her husband Rick of Springfield, Brian Froese of Aylmer and the late Ellie Froese, who went ahead of her in 2009. She is the doting and loving Nana to Lucas, Liam, Brooke, Eli, Simon and Kinsey. She will be greatly missed by her and Henry’s life group, Auna and Henry Loewen and Albert and Tina Wall.

She was born in Cuauhtemoc Chihuahua, Mexico on February 2, 1954, daughter of Nettie (Dyck) Friesen of Terrace Lodge and the late Henry Friesen (2002). She is big sister to Abe Friesen (Helen), Mary Peters (late Henry), Nettie Thiessen (Jake), Tina Barkman (Arley), Henry Friesen (Kim), Jacob Friesen (Arlene), Susan Reimer (Anthony) and John Friesen (Lisa).

Margaret was a breath of fresh air and sought to bring laughter and encouragement to any situation she found herself in. She always looked for the positives in life and her grandchildren loved her goofy antics. She loved traveling and camping with friends and family and creating memories with her grandchildren. But most of all, she loved Jesus.

Friends and family are invited to honour her memory at the visitation held at H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held at the Bradley Street Church of God in Aylmer on Friday November 22, 2024 at 11:00am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Special thanks to the PSWs and nurses from CarePartners and VON and to the PCOT team for their care and support in the last 4 months.
