Obituary of Diane Attfield

Attfield, Diane of Aylmer passed away peacefully at Caressant Care- Mary Bucke Street, St. Thomas on Sunday, October 6, 2024 in her 77th year. Beloved wife for 56 years of Fred Attfield. Dear mother of Keith Attfield(Jackie) of Aylmer and Chris Attfield(Tricia) of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Justin and Curtis. Sister of Lynda Dunn, Barbara Hulst, Gary Gibbons(Dianna) and Stephen Gibbons.  Sister-in-law of Mary, Ivy, Deb, Sandy and John. She will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario on August 3, 1948 daughter of the late Lyndon and Edith (Turner) Gibbons. Diane was very artistic and loved painting tree fungus, ceramics, and saw blades as well as making crafts. She volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society and drove patients to London for treatment. Diane will be remembered for working at Tim Hortons for many years. Her greatest joy came from her family. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 5-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
