Obituary of Brian Buckton

Buckton, Brian “Bucky” Alexander Russel of St. Thomas passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 in his 48^th year. Husband of Kathy(Lawrence) Buckton. Dearly loved father of Breanna. Born in Victoria, British Columbia on March 7, 1977, son of the late Jim Buckton and the late Laura VanWylick. Son-in-law of Marg and the late Dan Lawrence, brother of the late Crystal Leis and brother-in-law to Karen Auckland(Chris). Brian will be missed by step-siblings Kathy(Dan), Dennis(Shelley), Terry(Susan) and nieces and nephews Christopher(Leanne), Hailey(Robbie), Thomas, Brooklyn, Terri-Lynn and Devon.

Brian was loved and will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Brian worked as a transport truck driver for most of his career, he enjoyed making memories while camping, spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed working on cars and always had a project on the go in his garage. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the Shedden Keystone Complex from 1:00-4:00 p.m., please come as you are.
