Obituary of Konrad Stickel

Stickel, with his family by his side at London Health Science Centre-University Campus on Sunday, November 19, 2006. Konrad Stickel of R.R.#1, Straffordville in his 76th year. Beloved husband of 51 years of Katie (Rakoschi) Stickel. Dear father of Irene Stickel-Ruhlman and husband Philip of Kitchener and Bob Stickel of Straffordville. Loving Opa of Tasha Connell, Ali Stickel and Cassie Stickel. Also survived by his step-mother Katharina Horeth, his mother-in-law Katie Rakoschi and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sister Katie Dahmer and his step-brother Imre Kildau. Born in Mayaro Pusta Hungary on September 27, 1931 son of the late Konrad and Katharina (Ehl) Stickel. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the German Canadian Club. Konrad was a proud tobacco farmer for many years who brought his many talents to improve the farm�s operations. We�ll miss his contributions and opinions. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 8:00p.m. The funeral service will be held at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 175 Springbank Ave., Woodstock on Wednesday November 22, 2006 at 1:00 pm.
