Obituary of Ilene Bancroft

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ilene Bancroft on July 20, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Bancroft. Loving mother of Linda, Donna(Ray), Muriel and Wilfred(Courtney). Ilene was born on April 19, 1933, to the late John and Viola Schram. Predeceased by her brothers Ray and Arthur Schram and sister Shirley Dadson. Dear sister of Betty Spriggs and Margaret Oatman. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren also nieces and nephews. Ilene was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness for over 50 years.

Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 2-4:00pm and 6-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Bethel Cemetery. Donations to Jehovah’s Witness or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
