Obituary of Betty Hermsen

HERMSEN, Betty Lou of Springfield passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, July 15, 2024 in her 64th year. Survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert Hermsen. Mother of Amanda (Sébastien), Julie, and Connie (Kyle). Grandmother to McKenna, Abigail, and Cédric. Survived by her sister Patricia Wilson (the late Mike),  brother Ed Carroll (Laura), and predeceased by her brother Mike Carroll. Survived by her brother-in-law John (Rita) Hermsen and sister-in-law Anne (Jim) Howey. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. 

Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on April 13, 1960,  daughter of the late Velma (Nesbitt) Carroll (2001) and the late Jack Carroll (2016). The family has decided on cremation. There will be a celebration of life at the family farm on Saturday August 3, 2024 at 7pm. We would like to thank all the caring nurses and staff on the STEGH 4th floor medical unit who provided exceptional care.
