Obituary of Selwin Gentle

Gentle, Selwin Arthur of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of 48 years to Lynn(Carter) Gentle. Loving father of Derek(Thelma), John(Saubyah), Robert and grandfather of Elijah, Arianna, Athena and Alijah. Born in England on February 16, 1955, son of the late Arthur and Freda(Lewis) Gentle. Selwin drove subway for the Toronto Transit Commission. He had a reputation for his knowledge and passion for trains and was an avid collector of model trains. His basement is a marvel full of train tracks, bridges and stations. In keeping with Selwin's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
