Ross was one of a kind! How could you simply not just love the guy. While working for years downtown at a local Financial institution, Ross was a regular and I remember so often Ross getting into character and singing us one of his favorite Elvis Presley songs. We would applaud and so would any customers in branch. A true die hard Elvis fan.
He would often invite Vera and myself and everybody else to Burger King for his birthday dinner. Needless to say it would be at 8pm at night, and that was *HIS* plan. Lol
One birthday Vera and I presented him with some Elvis Presley memorabilia, and he was full of hugs. Ross was ALWAYS full of hugs.
I'm honored and blessed to have always been able to call Ross a friend. A man loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Rest Peacefully Rosco P....I will miss you

One of the privilege’s of my life was to make Ross really laugh. I think I accomplished that difficult feat twice. He rarely found me very funny, but I tried. In fact he usually said “yeah right, Matt very funny. ” and dismissed me with a wave of his hand and a roll of his eyes. But those very few times I got him to belly laugh, it was worth all of that rejection! Another great privilege of my life was that Ross found me and basically told me that I had to hire him, and that I wouldn’t be sorry if I did. I wasn’t. He was amazing and I got to work with him for the better part of six years as he was taking care of his lobby and his customers at Taco Bell. After moving away from St.Thomas in 2000, I would only run into him occasionally on my visits back and I last saw him several years ago. He hadn’t changed a bit. I told him he was the biggest celebrity in St.Thomas and without any hesitation he said casually, as if I was stating the obvious, “That’s right.” His kind heart and infectious personality will always be remembered and treasured. Rest well friend.

Ross was always happy to see his family members at our family reunions. He had a passion for impersonating Elvis Presley and no family reunion was complete without his his singing, in his black leather jacket and black wig, to Elvis songs. We will miss you Ross. Rest in peace dear cousin.

I got to know Ross during my many years of working in the downtown St. Thomas area and as a loyal part of the assembly team St. Thomas Community Living. With his friendly, engaging character, it was always a joy whenever I had the good fortune to share a moment with him on the street or at his work.
