Καλό Παράδεισο!!! Λίγες οι φορές, που μας επισκέφθηκες στην Ελλάδα, πολλά και αλησμόνητα όμως, τα όσα μοιραστήκαμε!!! Κρατάω στο μυαλό και στην καρδιά μου τη γεύση των φαγητών που μας μαγείρευες, τα αστεία, τα γέλια, τις συμβουλές σου, την αγάπη που μου έδωσες!!! Μας έλειπες πάντα, τώρα θα μας λείπεις για πάντα!!!

My mom worked as a dishwasher at Clark's sorry about 4 years. Gus was a great guy! I would help out in the kitchen from time to time and he would make my favorite dish (veal parmasan). The meat sauce he made was so tasty. He once gave me the recipe but I have no clue where it is. Gone but never forgotten. See you on the other side. RIP

My deepest condolences to all the family. I worked in Clarke's Restaurant in 1983-84 with Gus in the back kitchen washing dishes. He was a beautiful hearted but shy soul and an excellent cook. I still try to make a cheese omelette and oil coated ribs as good as his..still hasn't happened for either. I always looked for Gus having his break out back whenever I came to town to enjoy a quick chat.
