Obituary of Kitty Jones

Jones, Catherine “Kitty” of Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, March 4, 2024 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Jones(2020). Dear mother of David of Sarnia, Peter(Kathie) of Aylmer and Karen Lang(Paul) of St. Thomas. Loving grandmother of Jason, Jennifer(Nigel), Brian(Kristina) and Scott(Lee Anne), great-grandmother of Kayla, Courtney, Cassidy, Benny, Emiely, Bryce and Deacon.  Survived by her brother Donald O. Rawlins(late Jeanne). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Gilberta Haight(David).  Born on October 14, 1935, daughter of the late Donald and Edna Rawlins.  She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows R. C. Church. Alvin and Kitty loved to travel, golf and play cards. The funeral mass will be held at the Our Lady of Sorrows R. C. Church on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation-burial, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
