It is with great fondness I remember my favourite uncle. He made the visits to the family farm the most fun. We had the best water gun battles in the barn. He was most vulnerable when milking the cows, but paid me back with milk fresh out of the cow. Hair encrusted with milk I would walk back to the grandparents house for a bath. We have great memories of walks with family in the woods looking for puff balls.
So sorry for his passing Aunt Gwen and Geoff, but thanks for taking good care of him. ❤️

Ralph was my childhood ‘best friend and cousin”. As we matured the friendship continued into our teen age years and young adulthood. Late night sessions with cinnamon toast around the kitchen wood stove in the kitchen of his lifetime home were times to be remembered. There were many stories to be told.
Almost 60 years ago I was honoured to be in his wedding party. Since then, he and Gwen have been my lifetime friends. Although I have lived away from Ontario for many years, I have never missed an opportunity to visit Ralph and Gwen on my visits home. I am sorry to be missing my last good bye with Ralph.

I have many fond memories of visiting the farm when I was young with my grandparents (Harvey and Jean Cornish). Uncle Ralph would always take us out to the barn and show us the cows and I was always amazed at how many cats were around :) He would also take us on walks back into the woods with Sandy and hunt for puffballs. My deepest sympathies go to out to Aunt Gwen, Geoffrey and the rest of the family. I'm sorry I couldn't be there today with you. Big hugs for all.
Love Ian Convery.

For several years, Ralph Cornish and I attended Avon Public School together. We played on the Avon Hardball team, did Halloween tricks together in the village and generally had. a great time. I never called him Ralph. With his flow of carrot red hair, to those of us who knew him well , it was RED With the passage of time and occupation choices we had little contact with each other following public school. I will always cherish the memorable times I spent with RED CORNISH
My sympathy to the Cornish family
