Obituary of Leon Dusselier
Leon Pierre Dusselier passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, Ontario on January 23, 2024 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Marcella Dusselier (December 10, 2005) and devoted father of Rebecca Nesbitt (Gary Nesbitt) of Springfield, and Brian Dusselier (Deanna Westbrook) of Waterloo. Leon was loved by his grandchildren Stephanie Forget, Stephen Nesbitt (Jessica Nesbitt), Stacey Bossuyt (Evan Bossuyt), Sydney Dusselier (Chris Schlichting), Tyson Dusselier, Lowen Dusselier, and Riley Meier. Leon was great-grandfather to seven: Max, Cody, Nora, Cole, Brady, Owen and Ellie.
Born in France on October 22, 1927, he grew up in Belgium where he met and married the love of his life, Marcella (Vens). Leon and Marcella came to Canada in 1951 and lived in Aylmer, Ontario for more than 50 years. Leon was particularly proud to work for most of his life for the Ford Motor Company of Talbotville, St. Thomas.
