So long my friend,
I cherish the times we laughed while watching our young children grow.
Years ago you installed windows in our home,
Often while opening, closing, or just looking out, I'll think of you, and that will continue more so, even now.
I know that you fought hard,
Rest in peace, my friend,
And know that you are loved.
