Obituary of Joanne van Lingen

Joanne van Lingen (nee Joukje van der Veen), 91, of Valleyview Home, St. Thomas passed away peacefully at her residence on December 9, 2023. Joanne was born in Haulerwijk, Netherlands on April 19, 1932 and immigrated to Canada in 1957. She was a beloved wife and mother, and is predeceased by her husband George, daughter Edith, and son John (Betty). She is survived by son Bill (Cari), grandson Ryan and granddaughter Zoe. The funeral service will be held at H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. The funeral service will be available through livestream. Cremation will follow with interment in the Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
